Pet First Aid

  • December 2nd, Thursday 6:00pm - 9:00pm  

 Purpose:

This course teaches pet owners how to protect their pets during emergencies from further harm, injury, or suffering. Participants will learn Basic First Aid techniques for cats and dogs due to commin illness, injury or life threatening conditions. A current Adult CPR and First Aid certification is strongly encouraged, although not required.

 Learn How To:

  • Recognize symptoms and care for common ailments and emergencies
  • Create your own Pet First Aid Kit
  • Tips on maintaining your pet's health anf well-being
  • Use of the Illustrated Reference Book provided

  • The Pet Firs Aid booklet from the American Red Cross and the Humane Society of the United States, is an illustrated first aid reference for dog and cat lovers. This 128-page book provides quick acces to detailed instructions for 50 injuries and illness, plus practical pet health tips.
