With funding of $3750 from the Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, the American Red Cross Washtenaw County Chapter will engage Strategic Partners, Inc. to assess and analyze development operations and make recommendations that can lead to improved performance.

A $10,000 grant award from the Knight Foundation will fund a Health & Safety Scholarship Initiative providing CPR/First Aid training to low income women and girls.  This type of training is required in employment areas such as childcare and will aid scholarship recipients seeking the opportunity to gain employment or maintain current employment.  This project is in partnership with the Childcare Network who will refer clients to the American Red Cross for these scholarship opportunities.
