Available Classes
Great Escapes
Great Escapes is all about fire safety! This program is designed to teach children (preschool to fifth grade) how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to house fires.
We sometimes work with local fire departments which bring a fire truck and crew! Great Escapes can be customized to suit the ages, interests, and time constraints of the groups with whom we are working.
The program is free and fun!
Masters of Disaster
Masters of Disaster teaches youth (grades kindergarten to eighth grade) to prepare for and respond to disasters. This includes tornadoes, floods, thunderstorms and other emergencies. Masters of Disaster looks at natural disasters from both a scientific and safety perspective. The goal is to start healthy habits early and to motivate youth to bring those ideas into their family's home. All programs can be customized to suit the ages, interests, and time constraints of the groups with whom we are working.
Easy English for Emergencies (E3)
Easy English for Emergencies (E3) focuses on providing important disaster preparedness, fire safety, and weather safety information. Due to its focus on international audiences, the presentation is interactive and visual-based. It is designed to teach audiences basic key words to know and understand in regards to health and safety, and disaster preparedness. Throughout the presentation, important key words have translations into the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. The presentation is usually 60 to 90 minutes long but is flexible and is based on the 3 Actions Campaign
